Twas the night before Christmas and all through the house "Santa" was stirring going out to the car and back into the house putting presents under the tree. Thinking that "Santa" had finished delivering presents "Santa" went to bed for the night at 2 am. Settled into bed with "Santa's" daughter and grandmother. (Yes, 3 of us had to squash together in one queen size bed!) Suddenly "Santa's" eyes popped open as "Santa" realized there were still gifts in the car to bring in. Crawling out of bed "Santa" rushed outside and got the rest of the gifts. Trying to be quiet so the little one wouldn't wake up "Santa" started to walk back into the house with her arms loaded with more gifts. Suddenly "Santa" found herself kissing the pavement stairs in front of her front door! OUCH!
I caught myself but man my hand and elbow hurts! I finished bringing in the gifts and then called my mommy and whined to her about my boo boo's! She laughed at me! Well, we laughed together! Who knew being Santa would be so dangerous! Does the North Pole offer workman's comp?
Christmas Day turned out wonderful for all the aches and pains! I hope yours did too!
